biography
elias was born inside the city. his parents were originally from mossdeep. but when the outbreak reached mossdeep they were forced to evacuate to sootopolis. his father didn't make it out. he stayed behind to ensure the safety of other citizens. but he died soon after, falling victim to the zombies. or at least that's what his mother told him.
ten years after his mother arrived at the city she got pregnant with elias. his stepfather was a kind man, but he was timid. elias didn't connect with him too much as he did with his mother.
growing up in a city that was overpopulated was tough. they struggled for food and supplies. his stepfather did whatever he could to get them what they needed. elias saw no point in joining the school so instead he got a job at the general store. it wasn't even a good job, all he did was stock the shelves. but he earned enough from it to survive.
when elias turned twenty he joined the scavengers. he went through the two years of training and eventually became one. the idea of going outside the city frightened him: to be face to face with a zombie. but he manned up to it.
eight years have passed since he first became a scavenger. he still does it. but apart from that he's also a field leader which means he's responsible for scavengers on the ground. this may also include recruits from time to time. a few people have died on his watch, but he doesn't let that get to him. it's part of the job.
